After letting go of the athletic identity, Para athletes can still bring their own experience to the workplace.

The Retired Para Athletes Transformation Programme, a key project by PACEP, will match suitable Para athletes to schools as the School Sports Promotion Coordinator or Administrative Assistant, who assists in planning and execution of on-campus sports promotion activities in addition to daily administrative tasks of the school, so they can leverage their strength in the “second career”.

Participating athletes will have a maximum of six years of employment in total during the entire programme period. The programme provides both education subsidies and on-the-job training to assist athletes in enhancing their qualifications and soft skills in the workplace, laying a solid foundation for long-term career development.
